A New book
by Robert Goodman
Robert has worked as a geriatric social worker and lobbyist for over 50 years, developing and coordinating programs for people with disabilities, older adults, and volunteers. He is the past President for the Florida Chapter of the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care.
Enjoying both journalism and human services, Robert combined both interests into publishing newsletters for nonprofit organizations. He currently published A Life of advocacy, and writes “The Savvy Senior” column in the Century Village-Boca Raton newspaper.
Robert has had articles published in the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel and authored “Advocacy Guide and Toolkit for Florida Social Workers and Mental Health Professionals” published by Florida Chapter, National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
Robert presents workshops on Locating & Accessing Community Resources, Advocacy, the Legislative Process, and Aging & Disability.

Biography
Robert Goodman, MSW
Robert Goodman was raised in North Miami Beach and is a graduate of Florida State University and Hunter College School of Social Work in New York. He has an MSW in Community Organizing and Administration.
