Robert Goodman, MSW<\/h2>\n<\/span><\/h1>
<\/div>[vc_column_text css=”” text_style=”leader-text”]Robert Goodman was raised in North Miami Beach and is a graduate of Florida State University and Hunter College School of Social Work in New York. He has an MSW in Community Organizing and Administration.[\/vc_column_text]
<\/div>[vc_column_text css=””]Robert has worked as a geriatric social worker and lobbyist for over 30 years, developing and coordinating programs for people with disabilities, older adults, and volunteers. He is the President for the Florida Chapter of the Society for Social Work Leaders in Health Care.
\nEnjoying both journalism and human services, Robert combined both interests into publishing newsletters for nonprofit organizations. He currently publishes the annual Florida Health & Social Services Navigator Resource Guide, the bi-monthly Florida Health & Social Services Advocate Newsletter, the Society for Social Work Leaders in Health Care (SSWLHC) Social Work Advocate Newsletter, and writes \u201cThe Savvy Senior\u201d column in the Century Village-Boca Raton newspaper.
\nRobert has had articles published in the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel and authored \u201cAdvocacy Guide and Toolkit for Florida Social Workers and Mental Health Professionals\u201d published by National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
